Privacy Policy

Effective September 29, 2026

This policy applies to HoopStamp websites, installed web experiences, and related services. Parents considering a profile for an athlete under 13 should also read the Children’s Privacy Notice.

Information we collect

We collect adult account information, athlete age band and profile details, game schedules, statistics, shot locations, coach contacts, uploaded photos and videos, social links, support communications, device/session information, consent records, and subscription records. Payment-card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored directly by HoopStamp.

Youth athlete information

Youth-athlete accounts must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian who is at least 18. Youth athletes do not create independent accounts. Before information is requested for an athlete under 13, HoopStamp requires direct parental notice and verified consent supported by the parent-paid transaction and a secure email confirmation.

How information is used

We use information to operate accounts, calculate statistics, save games, create player cards and recaps, provide Coach Clutch, process memberships, send password and coach-verification emails, prevent abuse, provide support, and improve HoopStamp.

Public information

If the parent enables a public profile, selected athlete information, statistics, photos, highlights, social links, and recaps can be viewed and shared publicly and may appear in search engines. Under-13 profiles are private by default and require separate parental authorization for public sharing. Turning public access off blocks HoopStamp’s public endpoint, although search engines and third parties may temporarily retain previously indexed or shared copies.

Service providers and disclosures

HoopStamp uses service providers for application and database hosting, upload storage, Stripe payment processing, transactional email, and AI features. They process information to provide those functions and under their security and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information when legally required or at the adult account owner’s direction.

No sale or behavioral advertising

HoopStamp does not sell youth-athlete personal information and does not use it for third-party behavioral advertising.

Retention and deletion

Athlete information is retained while the parent-managed account and consent remain active and the information is needed to provide HoopStamp. A parental-consent link expires after 72 hours. If consent for an under-13 athlete is revoked, the profile is immediately made private and locked; the parent has up to 30 days to export information or renew consent before the athlete data is scheduled for deletion. Account deletion removes the profile, games, events, shots, media records, and recaps. Limited payment, fraud-prevention, security, and legal records may be retained where required.

Security

We use authenticated sessions, access controls, encrypted network connections, restricted service credentials, and server-side permission checks. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Contact us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.

Parent and account-owner choices

The signed-in parent can review and edit the profile, disable public access, remove social links, download an account export, revoke under-13 consent, cancel membership, or delete the account and associated athlete data. Requests and privacy questions may be sent to support@hoopstamp.com.
