Children’s Privacy Notice

Effective September 29, 2026

This notice supplements the HoopStamp Privacy Policy for a parent-managed profile belonging to an athlete under age 13.

Parent-managed participation

Children do not create HoopStamp accounts. An adult parent or legal guardian creates the account, selects the athlete’s age band, receives direct notice, and must complete HoopStamp’s parental-consent process before entering information about an athlete under 13.

Information covered

A parent may provide the athlete’s name, age band, school/team and basketball profile details, schedules, game statistics, shot locations, photos, videos, highlights, and social links. HoopStamp also processes limited device and session information needed to secure and operate the service.

Use and service providers

Information is used for live stat tracking, analytics, player cards, coach verification, game recaps, highlights, and Coach Clutch. Hosting, storage, transactional-email, payment, and AI providers process information to supply those functions. HoopStamp does not sell youth-athlete information or use it for behavioral advertising.

Private by default and separate public consent

Under-13 profiles are private by default. Collection and internal use can be authorized without agreeing to a public profile. A parent must make a separate choice before the athlete’s profile, statistics, photos, highlights, social links, or recaps can be publicly shared or indexed.

Parent rights

The signed-in parent can review and edit submitted information, download an account export, disable public sharing, revoke further collection and use, or permanently delete the account and athlete data. Privacy requests may also be sent to support@hoopstamp.com.

Retention

Child information is kept while the parent-managed account is active and needed to provide HoopStamp. Pending consent contact information is kept only long enough to complete or expire the request. When an account is deleted, athlete profiles, games, events, shots, media records, and recaps are deleted, subject to limited payment, fraud-prevention, security, and legal records that must be retained.
